It is our great pleasure to be able to introduce two new book titles in the Prešovian P. O. Hvieszdoslav's library on November 7, 2014 at 11.00 am. The novel "With Perun on a Shield" by Mária Kočanová reflects the period of Great Moravia, conflicts between paganism and the following Christianity.
The stories "The Seaguard", which are entitled on the basis of one particular story, are re-told by Ľudovít Petraško with a most unique authorial share. In the same way as Andersen's stories represent portraits of the human tragedy rather than fairytales, neither this book is aimed at a juvenile reader. Both books will be presented also in an old school in Kostoľany nad Hornádom, in Kočanová's birthplace, in collaboration with the Citizens' association The Little Village on November 9, 2014 at 3 pm.
